Ali Can Gül, a university student, tragically passed away last week during a stomach surgery. His death has left the nation in deep sorrow.

Father Hasan Gül's Quest for Justice

Ali Can Gül had traveled to Mersin for a gastric balloon procedure. Allegedly, a fatal mistake during the operation caused the balloon to be inserted into his windpipe. In response, Hasan Gül has journeyed to Mersin to seek justice for his son.

Prosecutor's Investigation

Hasan Gül has filed a criminal complaint against the doctor, asserting that his son's death was due to negligence. The Mersin prosecutor's office has initiated an investigation into the matter.

"They Killed My Son"

In a public statement, Hasan Gül declared that his son, Ali Can Gül, died as a result of medical negligence. "They killed my son," he stated, vowing to hold those responsible accountable in court.

"I Will Make Them Pay the Heaviest Price Before the Law"

Hasan Gül emphasized his determination in his public statement:

"They killed my son. Until justice is served, nothing else matters to me. I know my son's killers are watching. I will make you pay the heaviest price before the law for the torture you inflicted on my son. No one can make me give up—justice will prevail."

"I Felt the Support of the Entire Cypriot Community"

Hasan Gül expressed gratitude for the support he received from the Cypriot community, as well as the assistance from the government and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) consulate in Mersin for helping with the necessary documentation to bring his son's body back to Cyprus.

"I felt the support of the entire Cypriot community in this legal battle. Thank you all endlessly. My son was killed, and for those who turn a blind eye, remember you have children too."
