420 Grams of Cocaine Seized in 'Gaymak Operation' in Kyrenia
In the "Gaymak Operation" conducted on Karaoğlanoğlu Avenue in Kyrenia, 420 grams of cocaine and a substantial amount of cash, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking, were seized.
Suspect U.B., aged 30, was detained as part of the operation carried out by the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Directorate on November 5, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m.
According to the police statement, officers discovered the cocaine packaged for sale, along with £4,000, €570, $2,453, and 7,500 TL, all suspected to be related to drug sales. The investigation is ongoing.
