Investigation officer Hüseyin Zaifer informed the court that initial suspects, identified as Ç.S., K.Y., and G.K.A., had been previously brought before the court on October 28, resulting in a three-day detention followed by a seven-day extension. He stated that water bottles believed to contain alcohol, various evidence, and testimonies were collected, and an autopsy report had been sent to Turkey. He also noted that three infants had been discharged, while others remained under treatment.

Zaifer emphasized that the suspects no longer posed a risk to the investigation and requested their release on bail. The judge ordered their release with conditions: a travel ban, surrender of all travel documents, 200,000 TL cash bail, signing of a 1 million TL surety bond by three guarantors, and regular reporting to the nearest police station.

In a related hearing, suspects M.A. and A.D. were also brought before the court. Zaifer indicated that they faced charges of “causing death through negligence,” revealing that M.A. allegedly placed ethyl alcohol in a water heater and A.D. fed the infant named Mihrimah.

Zaifer confirmed ongoing investigations and evidence collection, including 70 statements, and stated the suspects were no longer affecting the investigation. He added that both had been suspended and subjected to a disciplinary inquiry.

The judge ordered M.A. and A.D.’s release under similar conditions: a travel ban, the surrender of travel documents, 200,000 TL cash bail, a 1 million TL surety bond signed by four guarantors, and regular reporting to the police.
