Rain Expected Over the Weekend
The Meteorology Department has released its weather forecast for the period of November 7-13, indicating a shift in conditions over the coming days.
Today and tomorrow will be mostly clear with few clouds, while Saturday will start with few clouds but become partly to mostly cloudy. On Sunday, the forecast predicts partly to mostly cloudy skies, with occasional showers or thunderstorms.
According to the report, the region will initially be influenced by a high-pressure system bringing warm and relatively humid weather. However, the second half of the period will see the arrival of a low-pressure system, along with a cooler and moist air mass in the upper atmosphere.
The detailed forecast is as follows:
- Today and Friday: Mostly clear with few clouds.
- Saturday: Partly cloudy, becoming mostly cloudy.
- Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy with localized showers or thunderstorms.
- Monday: Partly cloudy with occasional showers or thunderstorms.
- Tuesday: Partly cloudy.
- Wednesday: Mostly cloudy.
The highest temperatures will range between 24-27°C in inland areas and along the coast. Winds will generally blow from the north and east at moderate speeds, with stronger gusts expected on Thursday and Sunday.
