Half a Kilo of Drugs Seized, Three Arrested
The Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Directorate conducted an operation codenamed "Emek" in Türkeli yesterday, seizing approximately half a kilo of drugs and arresting three suspects.
According to a statement from the Police Press Office, 360 grams of synthetic cannabinoid, 140 grams of cannabis, and 12 grams of cocaine were found in a vehicle and on the persons of A.T. (22), V.S. (45), and A.T. (33). The vehicle was under the control of one of the suspects, and the drugs were taken as evidence.
Further investigations revealed that the suspects were linked to the earlier "Gaymak Operation" conducted in Kyrenia on November 5. Police stated that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
