Turkish Central Bank Keeps Interest Rate at 50%
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCB) has decided to maintain its benchmark one-week repo auction rate at 50%, following the latest Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCB) has decided to maintain its benchmark one-week repo auction rate at 50%, following the latest Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting.
In a statement, the TCB noted, “The policy rate will be determined to ensure the tightness required by the disinflation process, taking into account inflation realizations and expectations.”
