Severe Weather Alert: Risk of Floods, Hail, and Lightning
The Meteorology Department has issued a strong rainfall warning, with heavy showers expected to hit the region starting December 3. Residents are urged to take precautions against potential risks, including floods, hail, and stormy winds.
According to the latest meteorological assessments, heavy rainfall is forecast from 2:00 PM on December 3 to 10:00 AM on December 4. Rainfall levels could range from 21 to 50 kg/m² in some areas, accompanied by thunderstorms. Risks include flooding, hail, lightning strikes, and gale-force winds.
Citizens and officials are advised to remain cautious, particularly in open areas and while traveling, as sudden weather changes may occur.
