Parliament to Begin Discussions on 2025 State Budget
The General Assembly of the TRNC Parliament will convene on Monday to discuss the 2025 Fiscal Year Budget, projected at 136.941 billion TL. The session will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Following the presentation of the committee report by the Economy, Finance, Budget, and Planning Committee on the draft Central Government Budget Law for 2025, discussions on the overall report and draft will commence with an address by Finance Minister Özdemir Berova.
After the general discussions, the session will proceed to a detailed examination of the budget items, starting with the budgets for the Presidency and the Parliament. The proposed allocations are 619.5 million TL for the Presidency and 574.345 million TL for the Parliament.
