Successful Narcotics Operation: 10,900 Drug Tablets Seized
The Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate carried out a successful operation in Famagusta and İncirli, seizing 10,900 drug tablets and arresting two suspects.
According to the police press bulletin, the operation, dubbed "Operation F-Type," was conducted yesterday. A search was carried out on a vehicle and residence belonging to a 43-year-old suspect, identified as A.E. During the raid, authorities seized approximately 4 kilograms of MDMA (Ecstasy) in the form of 10,900 tablets, around 20 grams of methamphetamine, a glass pipe containing drug residue, and 18,100 TL in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
Another suspect, A.K. (female, 37), was also arrested in connection with the case.
Police investigations are ongoing.
