Arıklı: Gambling, Crypto, and Forex Laws to Be Introduced in Parliament Soon
Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı announced that the Gambling Law would be prioritized in Parliament, followed by regulations on cryptocurrency and forex trading.
Speaking on the Güne Dair program on Kanal T, hosted by Nazar Erişkin, Arıklı stated that these laws were included in the protocol by the government itself, and their passage had been a point of contention within the administration.
"The laws are ready, and hopefully, they will be approved soon," said Arıklı, adding that Prime Minister Ünal Üstel had instructed the relevant committee to move forward. He emphasized that the Gambling Law would be passed first, followed by the Crypto and Forex Laws.
Criticizing bureaucratic delays, Arıklı cited the example of chip-based driver's licenses, which he said had been discussed for months but had yet to see progress.
