Five Arrested Following Violent Altercation at Nicosia Student Dormitory
A fight involving five individuals at a student dormitory in Nicosia resulted in injuries and a broken nose. The suspects have been taken into custody.
According to a statement from the Police Press Officer, the incident occurred around 09:00 yesterday. H.Y. (22), B.Ö. (23), and S.Y. (21) were arguing with Ö.D. (20) and S.K. (21) after being accused of disturbing others by shouting loudly in the corridor. The altercation escalated into a physical fight, during which H.Y. struck S.K. in the face, causing bleeding in his left eye and a nasal fracture.
Police confirmed that all individuals involved have been arrested and that the investigation is ongoing.
