Ambassador Serim Bids Farewell to His Post

Yasin Ekrem Serim, the 16th Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), announced his departure from office, expressing gratitude to the Turkish Cypriot people.

During his tenure, Serim stated that he had worked across various sectors to contribute to a more prosperous future for the Turkish Cypriot community. He highlighted efforts in areas such as e-Government projects, economic development, energy, water supply, healthcare, and infrastructure improvements.
In his farewell message, Serim thanked all those who had supported him during his time in office and reaffirmed Turkey’s continued commitment to the stability and prosperity of the TRNC. "As someone who has lived in the TRNC at various times in my life and will continue to do so in the future, I will always work for the Turkish Cypriot people, no matter where I am in the world," he said.
Concluding his message, Ambassador Yasin Ekrem Serim extended his best wishes to the Turkish Cypriot community on behalf of himself, his family, and his colleagues.
