President Ersin Tatar to Run as an Independent Candidate
President Ersin Tatar is preparing to contest the upcoming presidential elections as an independent candidate.
According to information obtained by the Haber Kıbrıs, the three parties in the government have decided to support Tatar’s independent candidacy. However, it has been learned that the Democrat Party will announce its final decision after holding talks with Serdar Denktaş.
Meanwhile, Tatar is expected to officially announce his independent candidacy and the backing of the ruling coalition at a large-scale event to be held at Atatürk Sports Hall.
