Weekly Traffic Report: 1 Fatality, 21 Injured in Road Accidents
Between March 24 and March 30, 2025, a total of 80 traffic accidents occurred in the TRNC, resulting in one fatality and 21 injuries. Most accidents were caused by speeding, careless driving, and failure to stop at intersections.
According to the Police Press Office, 16 of these accidents led to injuries, while 63 resulted in property damage. The fatal accident claimed one life, and 21 individuals were injured in crashes classified as non-fatal.
The primary causes of the accidents were:

The total estimated damage from the accidents amounted to 6,421,680 TL.
