CTP Youth Organization: We Are Ready to Participate in the Youth Technical Committee!
Following the approval of the Youth Technical Committee proposal, which was presented at the informal Cyprus Conference in Geneva, the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) Youth Organization expressed its readiness to contribute and participate in the committee.
The CTP Youth Organization welcomed the decision made during the leaders' meeting on April 2, where it was agreed to establish the Youth Technical Committee. This committee, consisting of 12 Turkish Cypriot and 12 Greek Cypriot young people under the age of 35, will have a total of 24 members. The CTP emphasized the importance of ensuring equal representation from both communities, highlighting its significance in terms of social acceptance.
In a public statement, the CTP Youth Organization reiterated its intention to be involved in the committee and contribute to its efforts.

"As the CTP Youth Organization, we had put forward our request to establish the Youth Technical Committee at the informal Cyprus Conference in Geneva.
We are pleased to see that, during the leaders' meeting on April 2, 2025, an agreement was reached to form the committee. This committee, which will consist of 12 Turkish Cypriots and 12 Greek Cypriots under the age of 35, is of vital importance in terms of social acceptance.
In this regard, we would like to publicly state that, as the Republican Turkish Party Youth Organization, we are eager to participate in the committee and contribute to its work."
