Kulis Bar in Kyrenia Shot at in Midnight Attack
Kulis Bar, a popular venue in Kyrenia, was the target of a gun attack around 1:00 AM on April 18. According to police, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident during a major operation dubbed “Ghost Operation.”
Sources reported that five shots were fired at the bar from an unlicensed vehicle. Although no casualties or injuries were reported, police launched an extensive investigation immediately after the attack.
The Police Press Office confirmed that suspects A.Ç. (28), N.Ç. (25), Y.D. (18, Turkish national), H.C.B. (21), and D.B.B. (age not disclosed) were apprehended. A search of the scene and the vehicle used in the attack revealed three spent casings, four live rounds, and a 7.65 mm pistol with a magazine, which was later found buried in a field in Dikmen.
The investigation is ongoing.
