347 Grams of Drugs and 143,000 TL Seized in 'Azim' Operation
In an anti-narcotics operation code-named “Azim” carried out in Nicosia, authorities seized 347 grams of suspected drugs, 143,380 TL, and £20 in cash. Five individuals were arrested.
The operation was conducted jointly by the Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Directorate and the Crime Prevention Division of the Nicosia Police Department. In addition to the suspected drugs, police also confiscated a grinder believed to have been used in drug processing, and a significant amount of cash suspected to be proceeds from drug sales.
Five suspects were taken into custody as part of the operation.
