Water Cut in Famagusta for Three Days Due to Main Pipeline Fault
Famagusta will experience a three-day water outage due to a malfunction in the main water pipeline between Famagusta and Iskele. The pipeline, which supplies water to the city from Geçitköy, developed a fault that has halted water distribution.
Famagusta Municipality has urged residents to use water sparingly during the repair period to minimize inconvenience.
In a statement, the municipality noted that teams from the Department of Water Affairs, under the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, are continuing efforts to repair the fault and restore the water supply as quickly as possible.
