Arıklı Predicts Early Elections Soon After Presidential Vote
YDP Chairman and Minister of Public Works and Transportation Erhan Arıklı stated that early elections are expected to be discussed immediately after the presidential election.
Speaking on BRT, Arıklı said, “My prediction is that early elections will come up in January or February.”
Highlighting that the current government is the longest-lasting one, Arıklı added, “We have achieved good things in 36 months. We addressed issues untouched for 50 years.”
Regarding road works, Arıklı noted, “Another company will take over the mountain road project. By the end of June, we will widen the existing road there. The main plan for the mountain road is a tunnel project, but due to funding issues in Turkey, it has been postponed to next spring.”
