Duplantis had previously set the world record at 6.28 metres in February 2025, and this latest jump marks yet another milestone in a career already considered legendary.

The Olympic champion had also broken the world record at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where he famously celebrated with a pose mimicking Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikeç—a moment that went viral worldwide.

With each new performance, Duplantis continues to redefine the limits of pole vaulting, solidifying his place as one of the sport’s greatest athletes.
