Fidias Responds to Criticism Over Interview with Tatar: Will Also Interview Erhürman
Member of the European Parliament from South Cyprus, Fidias Panayiotou, responded on social media to criticism following his interview with Turkish Cypriot President Ersin Tatar. Fidias emphasized that the interview does not imply recognition of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

He also announced that he plans to interview Tufan Erhürman, the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) candidate and Tatar’s opponent in the upcoming elections. Fidias confirmed that the interview with Tatar will be published in the coming days.
