Üstel: Turkish Cypriots Will Continue to Stand Shoulder to Shoulder with Turkey
Prime Minister Ünal Üstel expressed pride over Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s visit to the TRNC on the occasion of Peace and Freedom Day, declaring that the Turkish Cypriot people will continue to walk in solidarity with Turkey.
In a post on social media, Üstel said he was deeply honored by Erdoğan’s presence in Cyprus on 20 July, marking the 50th anniversary of the Turkish peace operation.
He emphasized that, just as in the past, Turkish Cypriots remain committed to moving forward “shoulder to shoulder with the Republic of Turkey.”
