Turkey's Central Bank announced on Thursday a reduction in its policy rate, the one-week repo auction rate, by 300 basis points to 43 percent from the previous 46 percent.
Turkey's Central Bank announced on Thursday a reduction in its policy rate, the one-week repo auction rate, by 300 basis points to 43 percent from the previous 46 percent.
This decision follows market expectations and resumes the easing cycle after the last cut in March, when the rate was lowered from 45 percent to 42.5 percent.
