Power Gradually Restored After Explosion at Transformer Station
Electricity is being gradually restored across the country following an explosion at the Güzelyurt Transformer Station. Security checks at the power plants that were automatically shut down after the blast have now been completed.
The nationwide power outage caused by the incident is expected to be fully resolved within an hour.
According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, technical teams intervened immediately after the explosion, and once the necessary safety inspections were carried out, energy supply was resumed in stages.
