Nalbantoğlu Hospital Responds to Equipment Shortage Claims
The Chief Medical Office of Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Nicosia has responded to reports claiming that a patient was referred to a private hospital due to a lack of necessary medical supplies.
The statement said the allegations are under investigation and all related processes are being thoroughly reviewed.
It added that in similar cases, the Ministry of Health has taken swift action and issued directives to the hospital administration. Additional measures have been implemented to ensure surgeries for current patients are performed promptly.
The Chief Medical Office confirmed that updates on the situation will be shared with the public in the coming days.
