Man Arrested in Ortaköy “Code-1000” Operation for Possession of Cocaine and Cannabis
In Ortaköy, a man was arrested during a “Code-1000” operation conducted by police after being found in possession of substances believed to be cocaine and cannabis.
According to a police press release, during the operation carried out last night by the Narcotics and Anti-Smuggling Department, 25-year-old suspect Ç.A. (M-25) was found with a total of 450 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine and 580 grams of a substance believed to be cannabis.
The operation also led to the seizure of a precision scale believed to have traces of drugs, as well as cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales, totaling 3,215 TL and 640 Euros.
The suspect was taken into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
