Ali Adalıer Appointed as Chief of Police
Ali Adalıer, previously Acting Chief of Police and First Deputy, has been officially appointed as the Chief of Police, according to a decision published in the Official Gazette.
Adalıer, who has served in the police force for many years, had been acting in the role following the retirement of Kasım Kuni. Following evaluations to fill the vacant position, Adalıer’s experience and administrative expertise within the force were highlighted, leading to his official appointment.
With Adalıer’s formal appointment, the police leadership gap is expected to be fully resolved, allowing for more stable and consistent implementation of security policies.
