YSK Announces Ballot Order for October 19 Election
The order of candidates on the ballot, their wall posters, and the sequence of campaign speeches on BRT for the presidential election scheduled on October 19 were determined by drawing lots conducted by the Supreme Election Board (YSK).
The draw took place today at 14:00 at the YSK, with the participation of some candidates and their representatives.
Under the supervision of YSK President Bertan Özerdağ, the lot draw determined the following order:

Osman Zorba (Cyprus Socialist Party) – 1

Arif Salih Kırdağ (Independent) – 3

Ahmet Boran (Independent) – 4

İbrahim Yazıcı (Independent) – 6

Hüseyin Gürlek (Independent) – 7
According to the Election Calendar, the campaign period begins tomorrow. During this period, political parties and independent candidates are allowed to post wall posters and distribute flyers or other printed campaign materials. However, from 18:00 on the day before voting, the distribution, posting, hanging, or sale of any announcements, declarations, circulars, open letters, or other campaign materials is strictly prohibited.
