Tatar Travels to Azerbaijan for the 12th TDT Heads of State Summit
President Ersin Tatar has traveled to Azerbaijan to attend the 12th Heads of State Summit of the Turkic Council (TDT).
At the reception hall of Baku Heydar Aliyev Airport, President Tatar was welcomed by Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, Ambassador of Turkey to Baku Prof. Dr. Birol Akgün, TRNC Representative to Azerbaijan Ambassador Ufuk Arca Turganer, and Azerbaijani Task Force Commander Major General Soner Oruçoğlu.
Invited by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, President Tatar will travel from Baku to Gebele, where the summit will take place, later today around noon.
During the visit, President Tatar is accompanied by Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, UBP MP and Vice President of the Azerbaijan Friendship Group Resmiye Canaltay, TRNC Representative to Baku Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, Special Advisor on International Relations and Diplomacy Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Işıksal, and Presidential Special Advisor Gökhan Güler.
