Üstel: The People Reflected Their Will at the Ballot Box
National Unity Party (UBP) leader and Prime Minister Ünal Üstel said the presidential election demonstrated a strong example of democracy, noting that the people had clearly expressed their will.
“The people have reflected their choice at the ballot box. There are lessons to be learned from this outcome,” Üstel said in his post-election remarks.
He praised voters for acting with maturity and understanding throughout the process and wished for the results to be beneficial for the country.
Üstel added that the party would issue a detailed statement after conducting internal evaluations in the coming days.
