Price of Household Gas Cylinders Increased to 555 TL
The price of a 10-kilogram household gas cylinder has been increased by 55 TL, bringing the new retail price to 555 TL. According to the decree published in the Official Gazette, the maximum retail price for other cylinder sizes must not exceed 55.5 TL per kilogram, including VAT.
Under the new pricing structure, the maximum wholesale price for import companies is set at 301.57 TL (excluding VAT), while distribution companies may sell at up to 414 TL, and retail dealers at 524 TL. Supermarkets and grocery stores may charge a maximum of 555 TL, VAT included.
In addition, dealers are allowed to charge a transport fee of 1.5 TL per 10 kilometers for deliveries of 10-kilogram cylinders.
The new prices take effect as of today.
