Previously, the prosecution had withdrawn charges of “trespassing on property” and “causing public nuisance” against five defendants, and they were acquitted of these accusations. However, the two defendants continue to face trial over alleged violations of personal data protection and privacy rights.

During today’s session, the prosecution presented three witnesses, and the hearing is expected to continue with additional witness testimonies in the next session.

Separately, defendants previously accused of “violating a military restricted zone” were acquitted by the Nicosia Military Court.
