Christmas Event Held in Iskele in Support of the Cancer Patients Aid Association
A Christmas event hosted by Iskele Municipality at the Public Beach raised 13,840 TL and 10 pounds sterling for the Cancer Patients Aid Association, thanks to contributions from participants who braved the cold weather to swim in the sea.
Despite low temperatures, the event drew strong public participation and highlighted a spirit of solidarity and social awareness. Those who entered the water as part of the initiative underlined the importance of supporting cancer patients.
The funds collected were donated to the Cancer Patients Aid Association, while municipal officials thanked everyone who contributed and stated that similar social responsibility events would continue in the future.
