Rainy Weather Expected For Four Days From Tomorrow
The Meteorology Department announced that the region will be affected by showers and thunderstorms from tomorrow until Monday, with winds occasionally reaching near-gale force.
According to the Meteorology Department’s report covering the period from 29 January to 4 February, the area is expected to remain under the influence of a low-pressure system and a cold and humid air mass in the upper atmosphere.
The report said that weather conditions tomorrow will be partly cloudy to very cloudy with isolated light showers. On Friday and Saturday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are forecast. Sunday is expected to be lightly rainy, while Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly cloudy to slightly cloudy.
The highest temperatures are expected to range between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius in inland areas and along the coast.
Winds will generally blow from the south and west at moderate strength, occasionally strong. On Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, winds are expected to be locally strong to near-gale force.
