Erhürman Meets Azerbaijan President Aliyev In Antalya
President Tufan Erhürman met Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where discussions focused on strengthening relations between the two sides.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Erhürman, who is in Antalya to attend the forum, exchanged views with Aliyev on enhancing bilateral ties.
Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Presidential Assistant Hikmet Hajiyev were also present at the meeting. Erhürman was accompanied by Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Undersecretary Mehmet Dânâ and Adviser for Diplomacy and External Affairs İpek Borman.
Erhürman’s contacts in Antalya are expected to continue as part of the forum, held under the auspices of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and hosted by Turkey’s Foreign Ministry.
He is scheduled to return to the island on the evening of Sunday, April 19, following the conclusion of the forum.
