Water Supply Restored In Famagusta
Famagusta Municipality has announced that water has started flowing normally again through the city’s network, with full distribution to higher areas expected within the next few days.
According to a statement from the municipality, water supply, which began being restored in a controlled manner yesterday, returned to normal flow through the city network as of 4:00 a.m. this morning.
Due to Famagusta’s topographical structure, it may take longer for water to reach higher areas, but officials said full household distribution is expected to return to normal within one to two days.
Famagusta Mayor Süleyman Uluçay thanked the technical teams who worked in coordination from the beginning of the process and stressed the importance of the public’s patience and understanding.
“I would like to thank all the teams who contributed to the process and our people for their patience,” Uluçay said.
