3 Kilos Of Drugs Seized, Four Arrested
Police carried out a major anti-narcotics operation in Famagusta and Kyrenia, seizing a total of 3 kilograms and 80 grams of cannabis, along with smaller quantities of cocaine and MDMA.
As part of the “Narko Power Operation” conducted by the Anti-Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate, searches at several residences led to the discovery of multiple types of illegal substances.
Authorities reported that 15 grams of cocaine and 50 grams of MDMA were also confiscated during the operation.
In addition, police seized 27 MDMA-containing tablets, 378 prescription-controlled pills, a grinder containing drug residues, and a partially smoked hand-rolled cigarette mixed with drugs.
Four suspects were taken into custody as part of the investigation.
