Man Arrested for Offering Bribe to Traffic Police in Famagusta
A man was arrested in Famagusta after offering a bribe to a traffic police officer. The individual, identified as C.Y. (39), was caught using his mobile phone while driving on İsmet İnönü Boulevard.
Upon being stopped by a police officer from the Traffic Department of the Famagusta Police Station, he offered the officer $100 in exchange for avoiding a fine.

According to the police, the incident took place around 1:00 PM yesterday when C.Y. attempted to bribe the officer to prevent the issuance of a ticket. He was subsequently arrested.
