British Bases say They Did not Participate in Israel’s Strikes on Iran
The British Bases in Cyprus have confirmed that their forces, including personnel from the Bases, did not participate in Israel’s overnight air strikes against Iran.
“We are monitoring reports regarding Israel’s overnight air strikes against Iran and can confirm British forces – including the British Bases – did not participate,” a statement from the British Bases stated.
The statement echoed remarks made by the Prime Minister, urging all parties to “step back and reduce tensions urgently.” The British Bases emphasised that “escalation serves no one in the region.”
