TDP to Present Proposal to Support Erhürman in Presidential Election
The Communal Democracy Party (TDP) is preparing to support Republican Turkish Party (CTP) candidate Tufan Erhürman in the upcoming presidential election scheduled for October. A proposal to this effect will be submitted to the party’s Central Committee on 30 June.
According to information obtained by Kıbrıs Postası, the TDP plans to accompany the proposal with a declaration of "principled will," signalling a commitment to shared values in the electoral process.
The party is reportedly accelerating preparations for a joint campaign with the CTP, aiming for coordinated messaging while maintaining its institutional identity.
The proposal is also expected to include a joint statement titled "Declaration of Will," accompanied by a call for unity among all pro-solution and left-wing groups on the island.
