Erhürman: Dialogue and Diplomacy Always Welcome
Republican Turkish Party (CTP) leader Tufan Erhürman welcomed the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, stating that the world could finally breathe a sigh of relief. He emphasized that “the civilised way to resolve conflicts is through dialogue and diplomacy,” adding, “Dialogue and diplomacy are always good.”
In a statement shared on his personal social media account, Erhürman reflected on the human cost of war, particularly in Gaza, saying, “We have buried the children and civilians killed in Gaza and other conflicts in our hearts. No more children, no more lives should be lost. I hope the ceasefire is respected and leads to a lasting peace.”
