Police Warn of Counterfeit US $100 Bills in Circulation
The police issued a warning about counterfeit US $100 bills potentially circulating in the market.
According to the police report, yesterday at a business in Kyrenia, two counterfeit $100 bills were used to pay for goods.
During a search of the suspect’s hotel room, authorities found an additional eight counterfeit $100 bills.
The serial numbers of the counterfeit bills are as follows:
"PB91652719, KH62017538C, PC17067618A, KH62016146C, PB91654184A, HE71360436L, KH62021838C, KH62020283C, KH62021917C, KH62017686C."
The police advised the public to exercise caution when accepting $100 bills with these serial numbers in transactions, due to the risk of counterfeit currency in circulation.
