Gönyeli-Boğaz Road Closed to Traffic Until Monday Morning
The Gönyeli-Boğaz road, also known as the old Gönyeli road, will be closed in both directions from 6:00 p.m. today until 6:00 a.m. on Monday due to ongoing construction on the Nicosia North Ring Road.
In a statement, the Department of Highways announced that the closure is necessary for works related to the bridge junction and the Alayköy connection. Transit traffic will not be permitted in either direction along the designated section.
Drivers are urged to use alternative routes and to pay close attention to traffic signs and instructions to ensure safety.
