EMU Ranks First in Cyprus in 2025 Nature Index

The majority of EMU’s contribution score stemmed from advanced research published in internationally renowned journals such as the European Physical Journal C and the Journal of High Energy Physics. Groundbreaking studies in fields like quantum gravity, black hole physics, and high-energy theoretical physics have significantly boosted EMU’s scientific output and global visibility in the fundamental sciences.

The published works authored by Prof. Dr. İzzet Sakallı, Head of the Physics and Chemistry Departments; Prof. Dr. Habib Mazharimousavi, Deputy Head; Prof. Dr. Omar Mustafa; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Övgün, exemplify EMU’s commitment to scientific excellence.
