Minimum Wage Commission to Convene Tomorrow

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission will convene tomorrow to determine the second minimum wage for 2025. The meeting, scheduled for 11:00 a.m. at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, follows the Commission’s initial session held yesterday.

Minister of Labour and Social Security Sadık Gardiyanoğlu stated after the first meeting that both the employer and employee representatives had adopted a constructive approach. He said the new wage increase rate would be decided after receiving proposals from both sides and implemented retroactively from July 1.
Since January 1, the minimum wage in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has been set at a net monthly amount of 37,818 TL and a gross of 43,469 TL.
