Serdar Denktaş Launches New Party: TAM

Serdar Denktaş has announced the formation of a new political party named the Social Justice and Struggle Party (TAM Parti), unveiling its name and logo—a symbol featuring an olive tree—along with the motto: “Rebuilding justice.”

In a written statement, Denktaş said the country’s current conditions made the formation of a new party a necessity. The acronym “TAM,” he explained, stands for completeness, accuracy, the right moment, and clarity.
The party's logo, an olive tree, was described as more than a visual symbol—it represents deep cultural and historical roots. “It’s a reflection of this land’s people and values,” Denktaş said.
TAM’s official colors are “Ecevit blue”—a shade tied to the collective memory of Turkish Cypriots—and black, symbolizing strength, leadership, and defiance against prevailing injustices.
Denktaş declared one of the party’s core goals as eradicating corruption in politics. “We will fight injustice, lawlessness, and systemic disorder by reconstructing justice,” he said.
The party’s full team, manifesto, charter, and projects will be unveiled soon in an official press conference. Denktaş concluded the announcement with the slogan: “Now is the TAM moment.”
