Nationwide Water Cut from Tomorrow Until September 12 Due to Maintenance Work
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has announced that, due to repair works at the Geçitköy Pumping Station, water supply will be suspended across the country from tomorrow until September 12. Citizens are urged to use water sparingly during this period.
According to the ministry, on August 8, a nationwide electricity outage caused 13 faults affecting the Water Supply Project. Twelve of these faults were resolved without interrupting water service; however, the final fault requires a temporary water cut to carry out necessary repairs.
During the maintenance, water needs will be met from local sources, and the public is advised to use water consciously and efficiently until the work is completed.
