Arıklı Questions Erhürman’s Commitment to Federation Talks
Public Works and Transport Minister Erhan Arıklı has questioned whether Tufan Erhürman, leader of the Communal Democracy Party (CTP) and presidential candidate, has abandoned his support for a federal solution.
In a social media post, Arıklı noted that Erhürman made no mention of “federation” during his campaign speech in Büyükkonuk and, in later appearances, only touched on the subject briefly and hesitantly before moving on to other topics.
Arıklı also pointed out that the issue was almost entirely absent from the “Vision 2025–2030” meeting held last night. He suggested that if Erhürman were to announce he would not pursue federation talks if elected president, it could shift the political balance.
