S Cyprus Foreign Ministry: 213 Citizens Safely Evacuated from the Middle East
The South Cyprus Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that five flights—one charter and four commercial—were conducted to evacuate citizens of the Republic of Cyprus from the Middle East amid regional developments. A total of 213 people were safely returned to the island.
According to the ministry, the evacuations were carried out under its coordination, with close cooperation from diplomatic missions, foreign authorities, and airline companies. Both charter and commercial flight options were utilized to ensure the safe return of Cypriot citizens.
