US Issues NOTAM for Military Activities Around Cyprus
A United States NOTAM has announced upcoming military operations in the airspace surrounding Cyprus. The notice, effective from March 13 to April 12, 2026, advises pilots to exercise caution when flying through the area and to maintain continuous contact with Nicosia Air Traffic Control.
According to the “Kyrenia Interactive System – Navigational Warnings & NOTAMS in Force,” the NOTAM A0332/26 covers a wide zone over eastern and northeastern Cyprus where US military operations may take place. The activities are restricted to specific coordinates over the sea, and aircraft are instructed to stay in radio contact with Nicosia ACC on 126.3 MHz throughout their passage.
The NOTAM specifies that the military operations will affect airspace from the surface (SFC) up to flight level FL180. An additional NOTAM has also been issued for the region, providing further navigational warnings regarding potential US military operations.
